Friday, June 13 ~ Inland Isle

Inland Isle’s members were bound to find each other in the small – but surprisingly deep – music scene in Jackson, Wyoming. Drawing from indie rock, Americana and chamber pop influences, the band’s songs are anchored by the sometimes introspective, other times incisive lyrics sung by songwriter-guitarist Patrick Chadwick atop lush vocal harmonies.

Released in 2021, Inland Isle’s eight-song debut album, Time Has Changed Us, reckons with the aftermath of upheaval in America and its effects on relationships, community and livelihoods. It was lauded by Glide magazine as a “big Laurel Canyon sound,” and by Under the Radar as “rich heartland rock, folk harmonies, and anthemic vocal hooks.” The band has been releasing new singles from its follow-up album, In Denial, due out in the first half of 2025.

Often confused as brothers at shows, Chadwick and lead guitarist Dusty Nichols each grew up in Massachusetts – and even lived in the same Boston-area neighborhood – but the pair of songwriters didn’t meet until moving cross-country. Inland Isle is rounded out by prolific musicians Leif Routman on bass and Liam O’Neill on drums.

Saturday, June 14 ~ Kellen Smith

“Known for his eclectic mix of signature cowboy yodel meets rock’n’roll energy, a sound he aptly describes as, ‘rancher blues’,” Kellen Smith is a singer/songwriter from Gillette Wyoming. He is a University of Wyoming graduate, and a fifth-generation cattle rancher. He began playing guitar and writing while in college at Laramie, WY. Smith’s devotion to crafting songs wrapped in western stories and imagery offers a unique perception for the listener to enjoy.

Kellen makes his home on the Daly Ranch. The Daly Ranch was established in 1894, by John T. Daly, and has been run for the last 125 years as a working cattle ranch. John T. Daly is the great, great, grandfather Kellen Smith. In that 125 years, the Daly Ranch has grown to its current size. Currently, Kellen Smith lives on the ranch with his wife and three children, they are the sixth generation of family members to live on the ranch.
